Bagels, The Old Fashioned Way
Pumpernickel's Bagelry makes bagels the old fashioned way. First we hand roll them using only the finest ingrediants. Next we proof them for at least 24 hours. This provides the bagels the much needed time to properly rise without rushing or freezing them. The next morning we begin the process of baking. We carefully bake and cool our bagels so that the texture and conistency is obvious to the consumer. It is expensive to produce bagels this way, but we think it's worth it.
Pumpernickel's also features our now famous Egg Sandwich served on a bagel. We offer a full breakfast too.
