Pumpernickel's Pizza is the very best Pizza in the city! Why? Because we work hard to make it that way. We start by making our dough from scratch, every day! Next, we make our own sauce. A little basil, some garlic, fresh peeled Italian tomatoes, oregano, a touch of salt and sugar. Maybe a little more garlic. Then we top it with whole milk mozzarella cheese. Our Pizzas are 18" in diameter, sliced into 8 large pieces. Give us a try! How can you lose, all the owners are from from Long Island New York; land of real Pizza!!!! Vegan and Vegetarian Pizza: We make fresh dough every day. Pizza dough when made correctly contains no dairy products. Our homemade sauce is made from the freshest whole pear tomatoes and spices. We use only "Tofutti" brand dairy-free "cheese". Select any vegetable topping you like. Pizzas made like this are fat-free as well as delicious.
